Jewellery is the language that has become my preferred form of expression. Sometimes my work is meant to be worn on a body, but not always. Still the connection to identity, heritage and culture is always there, which is why I find jewellery as an art form intriguing.  By misplacing an object or by creating something in an unanticipated material the perspective of the viewer can be distorted. When a piece is unexpected, it might evoke a smile, surprise or bewilderment. With that feeling lingering, I believe our minds are open to new thoughts.
